The bandage I made

I did finally manage to call upon my nursing skills and make a bandage for Maggie's ear last night that even 12 hours later she's been unable to remove. Yay me!

In the nursing world, there's a superstition that illnesses, injuries, even deaths come in threes. Not that I believe in such things, but with Cooper's little scare at lunch on Sunday--where he cut his hand on a glass that he broke--and the dog's crazy day yesterday, that's twice I've been bled on in as many days. So, I gotta tell ya, I'm a little fearful for what today holds, wondering if a third blood-letting is imminent. Naaahh, that'd be crazy . . . right?

"sleepless nights" if i may, he's that age. mine have (including right now with my same age girl) gone through a terrified at night stage. from about 2 1/2 to 3 something. and your observations are spot on. i'm just like you. and that night-time regret after they've gone to sleep is so painful. you're so wise.
